Charlie Brown

Lucy Van Pelt: I know how you feel about all this Christmas business, getting depressed and all that. It happens to me every year. I never get what I really want. I always get a lot of stupid toys or a bicycle or clothes or something like that.

Charlie Brown: What is it you want?

Lucy Van Pelt: Real estate. ^

One of two of my all-time favorite Christmas albums, this record takes me back to my childhood and makes me smile every time. Today this iconic soundtrack was my compliment to my own holiday tradition; this is my 25th year of making Christmas mix CDs for my friends. Yes, music from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” makes this special anniversary edition. Shout out to Vince Guarladi, his trio and this entire LP. It is not the holiday season without this most memorable music from our past. I ask you, how can you not love it?

*Vince Guaraldi Trio:
Jerry Granelli – drums
Vince Guaraldi – piano, Hammond organ, arrangement
Fred Marshall – double bass
Colin Bailey – drums on Greensleeves
Monty Budwig – double bass on Greensleeves

^Charles M. Schulz.
